I don’t know how many of you are used to watch movies from America, but today I saw something different, as for me, I watch too many kinds of movies from too many different countries, but just for those who want to watch something different, too out of America and its nowadays messages incrusted in our minds, I dare to invite you to watch this an animated movie from Ukraine: The stolen princess
A fantastic fairy tale like those old ones I love. Maybe it’s not a great story but yes, it’s entertained enough for me.
Once upon a time I young girl wanted to live adventures, she was a princess and she wanted to live her life out of the palace because she was quite bored to live there. However, her father was something very different in mind, her father wanted her to get married and he had made his mind up. So the princess, acting like our new princesses, got a rebellion way against her father and decided to run away in other to seek adventures out there by herself, as result, of all of this? She will find her adventure holding hands to a cute guy who pretends to be a knight just to rescue her from two ruffians. But our story goes a little further where fantasy comes across to our reality and their adventures get out of our little planet and our dreams stretch furthermore.
To be honest, at the first sight, The stolen princess reminds me a lot of Aladdin, yes, and that way of drawing reminded me at Tangled and Frozen. The first half an hour of the movie saves resembling about Aladdin almost all the time although it goes getting separate ways throughout the minutes passes. At any rate, it was beautiful to see and feel that love getting bloom bit by bit with the music background.
Everything is about love, how much Rusian loves Mila that he could die for her, for their love. Rusian is capable of crossing across too much toughness just for rescue her and too many times we will find so funny some situations and some characters that bit by bit will be joining their lives to our main male character. And Mila doesn’t give up any hope, daydreaming about that instant where she could find herself safe with him. Meanwhile, she will keep fighting her own battles just to keep herself safe.
Despite their efforts for being together, as each movie when good fights against evil, this story isn’t lack of a villain. Our villain is selfish, self-seeker and perverse in order to find his own profit. He couldn’t be other way or he wasn’t our villain, anyway.
I liked it, I enjoyed it was fun. You might want to watch it with your family.
